APPLICATION FOR JOB/ EMPLOYMENT

Letter writing is one of the important part of writing section in any language. Though, with the advent of telecommunications like e-mail, fax, telephone, video conferencing, and other social medias, the glory of letter writing has not dwindled. It is one of the best way to express oneself. Specifically, application for job  is the  most used one and can be said to be your expectation that can be granted for the addressed purpose. But then, the thing is everyone likes to read the theoretical part. When it comes to pen down one plot, one takes the back seat. In present scenario, there's very few of them who can sit down and write a wonderful application without any help from internet. So here's  the solution to this problem. Today we will be learning how to write an application for job.
So, letters are basically categorized into:
1. Formal letters
2. Informal letters
Application for job is placed under the formal letters category.


PARTS OF LETTER-

1. THE HEADING:writer's address and date.


2. SALUTATION:designation of authorized person, name of the
organization, city and form of addressing( like: Sir/Madam ).


3. BODY OF THE LETTER: It consists of 3 paragraphs.
The first paragraph is the introductory one in which you need to introduce yourself, write the reference of newspapers or any online notification, mention the date of publication of such advertisement( you must apply within one week of publication of such advertisement) and the post for which you want to apply.
 The second paragraph contains your educational qualification with the name of the respective passing institute, marks, information regarding your achievements in extra curricular activities, internships, and previous job records( name, time duration, department etc).
 The third paragraph is the concluding paragraph and in this you make sure that you are the most eligible candidate and will serve in the best manner in a given situation.

4.COURTEOUS LEAVE TAKING: Thanking you, awaiting an early reply

5. RESUME: One must attach a resume with the application for job comprising name,  father's name, dob, nationality, marital status, educational qualifications( with name of institute and marks ), extra curricular activity, internships,  previous job experience, corresponding address, contact no., e-mail, and reference( name of any two person who suggested you about the job).
